STARTITIS

I don't know what was in the air last week but I had a major case of Startitis. The weather here was really nice. I think I got a small dose of Spring and that sent the ball rolling. Before I knew it I had cast on for three new projects. I had to fight the urge to cast on more.

I am working on Elizabeth Zimmermann's
Baby Surprise Jacket.

I am also working on the Dream In Color Shrug

I casted on for my first pair of socks but had to rip it out and start again.

On top of all that.....

  1. I still need to find buttons for Juliet.

  2. I need to sew together my Counterpane Carpet Bag and find a lining for it.

  3. I also need to keep working on 28Thirty.

My man either needs to learn to knit so he can help me finish stuff or I need to clone myself a few times.

Oooh I'd love to hear how you get on with the baby jacket... a baby is imminent in our family, and I've always drooled over that little jacket.

And the socks yarn. Damn I think it looks even more stunning as a yarn cake than it did in the skein. Can't wait to see the sock in progress.

OMG, Kelly, I just posted about the same thing. That is eerie.

The baby surprise jacket looks like a fun knit. I love the Dream in Color yarn you are using. And your first pair of socks?! How exciting--I can't wait to see how they are coming along :)

Hahaha...I'm just sitting here at work laughing because you know that I cast on three projects last week too. My Manon sweater, the Dream in Color shrug, and my sock! :) At least I'm making progress on all of them...except for the sock...I think I need some help with that one.

It's totally in the air. It's all I can do not to cast on for about three things just tonight! I keep dreaming about the Hexagon coat from Norah Gaughen, the Auburn Camp Shirt from the last Interweave, Trumpet Skirt same Interweave, Yosemite from Knitty, and Jaywalker socks. Whew. I think there are more but my brain hurts from that list. :D

Kelly~Found you via Stacey. I am also making a baby jacket, mine in Dream In Color's Spring Tickle. I am a slow knitter and can only knit on a few things at a time. This jacket is for one of two grandchildren due in August for Husband and me, making them a total of five in the family. I must knit faster! You have a nice blog.
