Hey Lady!

Remember this gorgeous yarn I posted about back in March? It is from Red Rocks Fiber Works and it is the one I secretly re-named Kelly Girl. Ah yes, now you remember. Yesterday while I was cruising around on Ravelry I fell in love with my next project. Not only did it beg for the Kelly Girl yarn, it looked as if it was made for the project.

Here she is...the new love of my knitting life, the February Lady Sweater. It is a free pattern from the oh so talented Flint Knits. If you think the sweater looks familiar, you are right. It's Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Baby Sweater on Two Needles. The difference? It is adult sized. Woo Hooooooo!!! To see this gorgeous beauty being modeled head on over to Flint Knits blog.

This picture was taken....errrr....borrowed from the Flint Knits blog.

Guess what.... I'm dying up some yarnage right now as we speak. In the same color to make the same thing. Because of you. Because I needed more yarn. And, I needed another sweater project. Uh huh. I did.

That is a totally cute sweater pattern. You have enough of the MK yarn to make one for yourself, or are you making the baby size?

Wow...that is the PERFECT yarn! I love it! Oh man...now I want some too. Crap. I had been so happy with the yarn that I had picked out of my stash. :)

Oooh that looks lovely. I think we need some modeled shots because I did think it was baby sized from the pic until you mentioned it ;-)

I fell in love with this sweater. I'll want to see you modeling, because I know you'll be finished way before I even cast on!
