WWKIP Day

Today was World Wide Knit in Public Day. I hope everyone did their part and was able to get out and knit in public. I know my peeps at Purls of Wisdom were going to be representing out there on the sidewalk. So now for the moment of truth. Did I knit today? Yes. Was it in public? No. I do have a good excuse though. I was at the Estes Park Wool Market. Which I think counts since it is both knitting related and public. Yeah that works for me.

Ah, I might have seen you and not even known it! Maybe you saw me...I was the one carrying some newly purchased fleece and roving...

I didn't get a chance to go to my LYS and knit in public. I was at a baby shower and took something I knit that was shown 'in public' - does that count ;)

So what did ya get? Spill it, inquiring minds want to know. I need to live vicariously through my knitting crew's Estes shopping escapades :)

I did my part, I knit at the town beach with the kids. No sand interfered with the knitting, although the heat had me cut the day short. Today is rainy.
