Sweet Treat Survey

Here are my answers for the Sweet Treat Swap:

1. What were your three favorite treats in your Halloween bag? Sweet Tarts, Milky Way, and Three Musketeers.

2. What were the three treats that you would trade away? Mary Janes, Lolly Pops, and anything with coconut or raisins. YUK!

3. Do you bake? Yes. Brownies are the house favorite.

4. Do you order dessert in a restaurant? If so, what is your favorite dessert? Cheesecake

5. Tell me about your favorite Candy-colored yarns, and what candy are they inspired from? I thought this question was going to be hard but it's not really. CHOCOLATE!!! I seem to have a lot of brown skeins with other colors swirled in. Some have cherry red. Others have caramel swirls. I am not entirely sure what candy they are inspired from but chocolate is the main factor.

6. When you knit a special "icing on the cake" accessory for your outfit, would you knit ...... socks, a scarf, a hat or a bag? It would either be a hat or socks.

7. Describe the perfect ice cream sundae. OK my husband and I were just talking about this the other day. We are originally from the East Coast. We were saying we miss Friendly's. Are they even still around. I thought I heard years ago that they closed down. Anyway.....they had this Reese's Pieces Sundae that was to die for. It had vanilla ice cream with ribbons of peanut butter swirled through it. Hot fudge, whipped cream, and Reese's Pieces sprinkled on the top. Yeah it was amazing!

8. Are there any knitting treats that you would love to add to your collection?

A knitting gadget for your notions bag? I collect cute tape measures and stitch markers.

A sweet yarn? I am always available to receive new yarn. I am always on the look out for fun sock yarn. I can't get enough of it.

9. Think about the best homemade dessert from Mom or Grandma. Do you have the recipe to share? I remember making chocolate chip cookies. It was usually just the recipe from the bag.

10. What local or regional treats would you insist your swap partner try if she visited your town? Tres Jolie Tea & Champagne Lounge on Main Street in Old Town Littleton has the BEST lavender soda and the cupcakes are to die for!!! Trust me......I know.

11. Cupcakes....talk amongst yourselves. I like to think of these as baby cakes from heaven. Mmmmmmmmmm!!!

First things first...send over the coconut and raisin chocolates!!! Second I MUST go to Tres Jolie Tea & Champagne Lounge when I come to see you!!! Third Keith seconds everything you say about Reeses Sundae and yes Friendly's are still around. The one across from St. James is gone but the one near Levittown Bagel is still there. I have a Friendly's Coke glass here that I stole way back in the day and I can't let go of it. Finally....You MUST come here and as a treat we will take you to Sprinkles which has THE BEST cupcake on the West Coast where you can get a peanut butter cupcake with peanut butter icing. WORTH EVERY OUNCE OF FAT!!!!
