I have been knitting. Really I have.
I found buttons for Juliet. I don't know if they are going to be too small. In this picture they look sort of lost. Although a truck would look lost in all that garter stitch. My original plan for the buttons was to go with a bright green color. That was......until I saw these fancy silver ones. Then all the plans for green went out the window. I needed three and there was only three available. I say it was meant to be.

I have the first side of my Counterpane Bag done. I am loving the colors. You really can't go wrong with Noro. I should be close to finishing the other side of the bag tonight. Then I need to shop for handles and some fun fabric to line the inside with. So I will take a trip on down to JoAnne's Fabrics with my 40% off coupon in hand.

Nicely done! Can't wait to see both of these items in person!
Love the buttons and the bag, nice work! I can't wait to see the finished products either :)
Sorry double posted.
love the buttons. Oh - and how many skeins of Noro did you end up using for that bag. I, of course, went and bought a few after I saw your post on it. I only got four and wondered if it would be enough for a decent sized bag. What do you think? LOVE how yours looks.
Those buttons are great! I love how your bag looks!! Can't wait to see it when it's all finished :D
Oh, the buttons are perfect!
Looking forward to seeing Juliet in person - all made up and ready to out! ;o)
